My dad attemped to grow an AG this year but everything he tried, short of using a rifle, turned out to be futile. He has deer that are accustomed to living around humans, so they don't frighten easy. I am considering purchasing a Havahart motion detector that shoots a 3 second jet of water a the trespasser. I would like to give him this for Christmas, but I would some input. Has anyone has tried one of these setups? thanks Kathy T

I suspect it will work hopefully, for a whole summer. If they adapt, to it's squirt, as the seem, to adapt, to darn near anything else it may become a hot day deer shower. :))
Don't put the rifle away yet.

Backstraps are very good if marinated overnight and then thrown on the grill.
Or put up a fence, or get a dog.
