do growers water the stump of the plant as much as they water the taproots along the vine? & do they apply fertilizer to the taproot area?

While an area, of some ten feet, or more, in diameter may be called the nursery, in which the stump is located, the entire patch is working, to service the needs, of the plant.

Some growers twitch the nursery throughout the growing season with special growing techniques but both water and fertilizer is used, by the entire plant. No mater what feeding and watering may be done an even study application is far better than a technique that might create spurts, of growth. Even, in the final days, of growth, the entire root area is servicing the entire plant. Many growers use some form, of irrigation, which in principle services the entire plant evenly. Some feed through the irrigation system, to maintain an even equal, to the whole patch, technique.

Ive been deep drenching my stump area for about 2 hours every other day for the past month now, this allows for the stump area to be soaked and the run off to soak about 5 feet around the stump ( very steady flow of water) I also walk along the main vine before and after the fruit and soak the tap roots well. its been working for me
