Can anyone tell me if this product is a "chelated" calcium and therefore good for the plants?

It is maufactured by the Grow More co of Gardenia Ca. The guarenteed analysis states that it is derived from calcium chloride and citric acid. The calcium content is 12%.

Thanks

Ed

yes it is chealated calcium. I've used it for a season or two.The citric acid is thethe chealating agent that keeps the calcium in suspension and available.

I use Nutri-Cal as well, have for 3 years now and will from now on. Nutri-Cal is a notch above most, if not all, the other chelated calcium products out there...in my humble opinion and if you go by some industry tests. Tremor will tell you the same.
E-mail me and I'll send you a phone # where you can get a 2.5 gallon jug of it shipped to you for $42, cheapest price I've found.

I found a Nutri-Cal supplier here in Wa. state that will sell me 2-2.5gallon jugs for $75...not a bad deal...but am only gonna grow 3 plants...I will have this stuff for yrs!
and if you buy in bulk..is more cheaper a few of us can get together and go in on a pallet of the stuff and have enough to last 5yrs+.
I couldnt imagine buying a whole tanker full 4500 gallons.....OMG!
