Interesting. Is it a water soluble? If so, I can't see why not. The difference between 15-11-29 and 15-10-30 is virtually nothing chemically speaking.
It seems to be hard to find xx-xx-XX in normal garden centers. I haven't looked online but it may be available through some website. What I am using for the end of the season I'm not going to say until I know for sure it doesn't kill my plant. I wouldn't want someone borrowing the idea and having there dead plant on my conscience.

Oh, I also meant to add that usually xx-xx-XX fertilizers are geared towards things like fruit trees.

I to had a difficult time finding peters 15-11-29 as suggested by Dan L. in his book. I went to the local garden center and was told that the product was discontinued for "consumer use" however they could order it in a 25LB. bag. It took a few days but it did come in. By the way he also told me peters was bought out by Mirclegrow and they were disc. a lot of products. Good luck out there.
