Going Green

What a surprise. Postage for Canada, Italy, Slovenia and Germany was much higher than other years. I am not asking for additional funds but postage for international will be much higher next year to cover return postage. It was my pleasure to host the SEED EXCHANGE for 20 q 6 and I look forward to next year as well. We had many great growers who gave an abundance of seeds and varaties. I thank you! It took me two and one half days for packaging labeling and mailing. I had to use three different post office for various reasons. All packages are on the way. Postage to Germany, Slovenia and Italy was $22.50. POSTAGE TO Canada was $15.50
Today, we have received our seed box from the Exotic Seed Exchange. Thank you for all the hard work you did from receiving the seeds, sorting them out, and mailing them out. I just want to note that some of the seeds were not labeled and it is hard to know what seeds they are, people that are sending seeds to you need to be labeling them.

Phil - for next year, you should ask participants to send a address label that you could affix to the shipping box. I imagine many people have these and it would save you time in addressing all the boxes. Well done this year!

Al Davis, Vern Wttenberg, Lonnie Greenfield and one other emailed me directly. Chen with from Ontario Canada also recieved her seeds. Thanks everyone. The message I was given is I need a lot bigger garden. How am I going to decide which seeds. It seems like everyone is pleased with the seeds, the variety and the amount of seeds. Labeling of seeds could be better and it was suggested everyone send me a return address label. That would be ok but I owe Steve Marley a big apology. I lost a note he had enclosed for me to add to a package. I regret it so much. Steve has been a wonderful supplier of seeds and it makes me very disappointed in me that I lost the note. Again I am sorry Steve.
