Hey guys, my mother-in-law has asked me to find her some giant pumpkin seeds. She is in a pumpkin growing club in her small town, and they've been really enjoying it, although they've been growing standard sized pumpkins from your typical seed packet at the store so far. She is an exceptional gardener and would really like to grow a large pumpkin for her club and for all the grandkids. We aren't looking for record breaking size by any means, mostly something that will be exceptionally larger than the 90 lb pumpkins they've been growing so far. Tips on where to find seeds, as well as books she might read to get started with growing a respectable pumpkin would be so appreciated! Thanks a lot, have a happy Thanksgiving!

Hi, there are several posts below yours in this thread from growers with "seeds available". They are all good growers with pedegreed seeds that will do just what you hope.
The book you want is how to grow world class giant pumpkins III. It is a bit dated but still relevant. Read it cover to cover 5 times and then search through this site to answer all the additional questions your group will undoubtably have.
