Most common variety here in Europe is "Superschmelz". Can be bought in every garden center. If you can't find it down under, let me know. I will get you a package here and send it once around the world :-)

I've got the "Superschmelz" and have a few of these down. I guess I am just wondering is all giant kohlrabi seed hold the potential to grow a real giant? I will hunt out another cultivar and see if I can get a couple big ones growing. Do all the varieties of giants have the ability to grow the big multiple headed monsters?

To be honest... I don't know, if for example Kossak does that. I know that Superschmelz does... And you don't need any "special" seeds for this variety.
