Hi all, I appreciate that I am being very very cheeky here as I have nothing whatsoever to trade, I'm sorry about that.
I'm frustrated grower for the last three years where I have only had pumpkins approaching a couple of hundred pounds, mostly because I think the seed I have been supplied with has not been the best. I know my growing methods and soil are good as I grow many other veg very well, but I would really like to grow a giant Pumpkin before I completely lose heart and give up.
I will be trying to bid for seeds in the auction later today but I may not be successful, what is my best option to obtain a good seed, given that I have nothing to trade?

Hi Womble
Email me at gvgo@i-zoom.net & I'll make sure you have some good seeds to grow in 2014.
If your looking to join a club, the GVGO (Giant Vegetable Growers of Ontario) (www.gvgo.ca) are now accepting new members for the 2014 season. WE are the largest club in Canada, with close to 300 members. We also have several UK growers & over 30 growers from Europe that are members of the club. Like Wizzy's club, we also offer a big package of seeds from our member's 2013 giants. Check us out.
Good luck in 2014. Cheers, Jane & Phil

two excellent suggestions are from the Wiz at Rocky Mountain Giant Pumpkin Growers and Phil and Jane Hunt from The GVGO Giant Vegetable Growers of Ontario (Canada). Both clubs send out 2 or 3 newsletters a year with great tips on how to grow Giants and both clubs send out seeds to their members!
