hello growers i been looking through the past 2 years seeds and found one big thick fat golden seed the mother was a howard dill award winner,,, did anyone grow this last year how did it do? thanks all

I know a few people that grew it. Several had trouble setting fruit on it, but on ones that did get a fruit set it grew nice coloured fruit. One was a Howard Dill Winner at Erin Fall Fair. If you want to grow those genetics I would suggest the reverse cross (1663 Zoellner x 1161 Rodonis) which produced my 1266 Nieuwenhoff. It was grown by several people and all produced beautiful big orange pumpkins. Howard Dill winners on Saturday and Sunday at Port Elgin and a beautifull 1190 pounder grown by Ansems in NS (you can see that one on the Dills website. If you are interested in the 1266 I have a few left. Just send me a bubble
