If you have lost your sense of humor please I erg you to re-trace your steps to find it and if you think me asking for a seed this early is nuts.....well.......I couldn't agree more. I will be one of the few that don't even bother asking but not cause I don't think the Wallace's wouldnt but because......_______________

Brosco, I'm not hiding anything, I want a seed and will send a envelope with a seed request. It is a well known fact the Wallaces are generous with there seeds, as in they give them out and they are some of the best in the world. Not trying to candy coat, conive, pull the wool over anybodys eyes. If you must know what I was thinking, it was....There were concerts in the 80's called Live Aid, Bob Dylan announced to the audience, wouldn't it be nice if we gave some of this to the American farmer, that is how Farm Aid came about. So, I thought it would be considerate! yes I will stuff a few bucks in the envelope. Thank You

Could become a long list if all folks who´d like to get a 2009 (I probably belong to this group) entered some comments here, but is there anyone who doesn´t want to have a 2009? (No, I´m not talking about those of you who´d prefer to have two or three of the 2009 instead of one.)

...was just an attempt of stirring the pot in the opposite direction.

I'm new to this forum and to AG growing so I don't know exactly how to go about getting seeds but I know that pumpkin seeds should come second to good manors. It would be nice to get one but I don't want to pester any one that I'm sure gets way to many people asking for a seed already. I'm not after no world records just to have fun growing these mind blowing things. I don't know the Wallace's but I have only heard the best from others about them and it sounds like they serve the image of this hobby well and I'm not just talking about Pumpkins.

Hey Robert I was thinking the same thing about the extra three pounds. Or 4 pounds and then for the first time the name would have been a bigger # than the year

All I can say is WOW. It was just yesterday when I (someone who has never even grown or seen a champion pumpkin up close) said to myself that I would be the first to break the record. I suppose now, I will have to shoot for 2,500 or even 2 1/2 tons! LOL!!! CONGRATULATIONS Mr. Wallace! What a fantastic achievement.

Dont worry Brosco you will get one if theres plenty. All the clubs will be selling them if there is a decent seed count.Start saving your money. You can most likely buy one & support a great club for 200$ to 500$.Then you will be a true leader by supporting the Sport!

I think 200-500 would be a steal, I'm thinking of mortgaging my house to make sure I get one!

Tell your loan agent that Josh.lol

mark if I grow the world record on it I can sell my seeds and make a pile and pay the loan off early! Isn't predatory lending still going on?

What is the charity The Wallace's have ?
Wished I would have known this when he sent
me the 1789 seeds. I would have donated to it.

Dick(paps) has had a orange angel foundation charity for years. They sell a great seed lot as their main income source.Theres more demand than supply.I'm sure he'd appreciate a donation in any circumstance. They buy coats and winter clothing for needy children in their area.

10/1/2012 1:07:37 PM

Milford

milford, CT,

I am going to put a donation to OAF when I request seeds..just think what we are asking for FREE World Record seeds...a charitable donation is the least we can do..I'm sure Ron and Dick would greatly appreciate it and it would make a lot of kids better off..."Pay it Forward"!!!Mark

Linden, Mi.,

I think what you guys want is the seed that grew the big one, the seeds out of the big one may not even grow a 1000 lb pumpkin

I didn't say it would not, I said we know what the mother seed did, we do not know what this seed will do, I am sure it will grow some big ones.

hey you 2 take it out side.......I didn't start this thread for arguing, lol

The only thing that's for sure is that I know everything and nothing at all.

I'm sending pap a Bubble-BOX with orders to fill it up with half of his 2012 seeds, I would ask for 3/4 but I'm not greedy :)
