Lee..they take a long time to germinate ..and generally have low germination rates..start them now and definitely use a germination mat..

Just putting this out there. I'm a Florida grower and am swimming in Bhut Jolokia (Ghost pepper) seeds. Would like to exchange the World's hottest pepper seeds from 2008 (now replaced in the Scoville ratings by at least 3 different peppers)with anyone who has pepper seed. I'm not an expert, but germinated a batch of seedlings within 4 days, and now the plants are 8 inches and appear healthy. I have some of the same seeds left from the batch that I germed in January.

i got a 7 pot plant..phil..that has about 20 peppers on it now..i trade you for some this fall...it has a bunch of blomes on it and it is still growing....im in southeast texas..bout the same wheather.
