last year i tampered with the store bought seeds and only got a 8 footer this up coming year i want to challenge the record could some kind sole send me a half dozen seeds from something large,,, heres my email if you want to chat cueball@hotmail.com

Good luck challenging the record! It stands at 40ft and dates back to 1567. Nobody has been able to break it yet.
The modern day record stands at 26ft 4in and was grown in Germany. The previous record was grown in the Netherlands (it took somebody 25 years to beat that one, but many very tall sunflowers have been grown in Canada (mostly Ontario), so give it a shot!
