Can anyone advise how to tell a good seed from a bad one when it comes to harvesting them?

If they are skinny and clear they are bad. Once Dry you bounce them on a table.

and what happens if it bounces? good or bad? or the opposite and it does not bounce, good or bad? thanks just trying to understand the bounce ...... ps i tried it with tomato seeds and keep loosing them !lol scott......

If you drop them on a wood table, and they make a low pitched sound, they are good, if they make a high pitched sound they are bad, hope this helps.

ahhh, the ole bounce test? LOL Peace, Wayne Ps...Dandy, this is a tried & ? method!!!! Take 3 that bounce & 3 that don't & do a test germination on the 6 of em!!!! Then, soonly tell us what bounces & germs!!! Marley...method was sorta intended for AG seeds...but, keep on boucin the mater seeds!!! LOL PPS, I personally just krak em open and eat a couple or two!!! If there is somethin to eat, it's good to grow!!!! LOL !!! Peace, Wayne
