You may want to be careful yourself Mark. It's not unusual for seed houses to still have stock on hand even though the site says sold out. Last year our club acquired some seeds from a prominent business that were "sold out" long ago.

Why do they lie to you,Cant they say there no longer for sale,or there not for sale at this time,Honesty is the best policy!

Holy bananas! I've dealt with Marvin when "Country wasn't Country"! Our joint efforts have helped create a well planted/grown line with great credibility. Marvin has done a wonderful job of crossing the right seed for several years now. He has treated me fairly and I plan to continue reciprocating. I have a zip bag that has 28 seeds. Some of which are light and I would not sell them. I'm up to trading them with that understanding. As for holding out - that is not a factor and the lying attribute is real special! I'd say that trying to order 20 has its own merits! Running an online store and adjusting an inventory is challenging without this interaction. I'm not JC Penny's. Mark - never mind our emails. Growers that appreciate what I've done for giant vegetable growing send me complimentary seeds for my own use. I was just looking to maybe get back into growing a big pumpkin next year. Having grown the largest pumpkin ever grown in the USA with my brothers in 1983 and then having the largest in the world in 1988 & 1991; while organizing giant pumpkin growing ( something that many take for granted ), still gives me an itch!

Ray I ordered a couple of 209 Mitchell seeds today, and some rhutabagah seeds as well. Feel free to throw a few of those light 255's if the mood strikes you!

I've dealt with Ray Waterman over the past several years with seeds and products. I've found Ray very easy to deal with and more than fair. Over the years I've found that Ray's word is as good as gold. Keep up the good work Ray for distributing seeds and promoting giant vegetable growing. Marvin Mitchell

I second what Marv said. Ray has helped me make a few bucks off my seeds in the past. Granted they weren't sold for $5 each, but they weren't killer seeds like the 255 either...
