Would like to get some ag seeds for next year. I am growing big max this year and have learned alot. I like the dark Orange kins and would like to get the right ag seed for this color. I'm new at this and would like to try to grow as big as possible. Live in piedmont of nc so kind of need seeds tolerant of our hot and humid summers. Any help would be appreciated in obtaining the right seed.

cp, can send plenty o seeds...but color, shape, and tolerant of heat...is sorta confused...at this point!!! A couple of suggestions....read awl you can on this site...look thru diaries from folks near you,be sure and have soil test done, ammend as needed!!! You are not the first, first time grower to find this site!!!!! Welcome, and Grow em BIG!! PS...later, this year...when folks have harvested seeds outta their GIANTS...lots of "free" seeds will be offered up on the seed exchange thread!!! You will have to look thru the offers(maybe see what the pkn looks like in the "Diaries" section...then send a SASBE to the addy, that you want seed from!!! Or auctions are held in the winter!!! Top seeds get WAY Pricey!!! Peace, Wayne

well hello fellow tar heel.this was my first real year growing the giants, while i only got into the 4-500 pound range, i can offer a couple tips to you.first as wayne said , get a soil test done this fall, and do said recommendations. next, you may want to start researching the chemicals needed (fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, etc.), and start obtaining them.as far as heat tolerant seeds go, the best plant by far in the heat for me this year was the 1145.5 van hook.you can get some great seeds by just politely asking the growers in the chat room or by e-mailing them, and usually are free. send me an e-mail at zepfan1967@live.com this fall and i will give you some great orange seeds. good luck , you'll need it to grow here in north carolina. you may also want to check into some shade cloth and a misting system. wish you the best, gary lovitt
