Looking for selfed/sibbed 1725 Harp and 1161 Rodonis, like 1029.8 Craven and 1197.6 Matesa.
I'm not a competitive grower, but I need them for one of my breeding works. Will try to breed new variety better adapted for hot climate through crossing AG X C. moschata (done) and then back-crossing few times with AG, while selecting for high temps tolerance. Also may try to make and X C. argyrosperma cross, but that is not sure, because it will become too complicated.
Already used all the seeds I have asked and received past years, so I need some fresh "blood".
I have no hot AG seeds, so I only can offer SASE.
Thanks!

I would contact someone in SNGPG at www.sngpg.com or OVGPG at www.ovgpg.com for starters.

Don Langevin's 1071.5 x self I would bet to be a winner in that regard.
Believe it or not, the 1725, and the 1161 are VERY closely related.
They all have the exact same 4 ancestors. 1446 Eaton, 1420 Larue, 845 Bobier, and 898 Knauss
That is what I find interesting about all the 1161 x 1385 crosses. I call them homogenezations, as they ARE so closely related.
The 1725 is 1385 x self, which is 1068 wallace x 998 Pukos, which = (845x898) x (1446x1420)
The 1161 = 1231 Pukos (1420x1446) x 1450 wallace, which is 1068 sibbed or (845x898) x sib.
Still they all share the exact same 4 ancestors. Isn't that cool?

E-mail me at peachespumpkin@rogers.com
I only have a limited amount of these left. They are going fast. John Matesa

Steve, thanks, but do not bother.
meathead, thanks, I saw the 1071.5 and may buy of them (the price is fare) if I do not find the Craven. Last year I bought some tomato seeds from there, so I'm familiar with that source. But it would be nice if he place some pics too.
And yes, they are close, but my choice is based purely on personal preferences (I mostly grow selfed/sibbed seeds). If I manage to overcome the expected sterility issues I will offer the seeds, and every grower should cross them at leas 1-2 more times X AG of choice. So there will be more than enough variability by then.
John, thanks. Email on the way.

Thanks for the offer, but this is not self/sib and I'm not a collector, I ask only for seeds that will plant. Though 457 lb. of 80 sq. f. is quite impressive!
