Howdy!
(If there are wierd characters in this text...my apologies..for some reason it changes when I post it)

Time again for my 11th annual free seed give away. Just a SASBE and if I have any left...they are yours.

Here are the 6 2010 seed selections:
1104 Bhaskaran 10 (EST/DMG) - 1596 Wallace x 1161 Rodonis - Rib Split. (lots of seeds)
1060 Bhaskaran 10 (EST/DMG) - 1161 Rodonis x 1596 Wallace - Rib Split. (lots of seeds)

These are on AGGC and were official fruits:
1047 Bhaskaran 10 - 1309 Hebb (same cross as 1385 Jutras) x 1068 Wallace (low seed count)
1008 Bhaskaran 10 - 1662 Stelts x 843 Heyne (same cross as 998.6 Pukos) (low seed count)
957.5 Bhaskaran 10 - 1254 Urena x 1068 Wallace
881.5 Bhaskaran 10 - 859 Bhaskaran x 1068 Wallace
NOTE: Very low seed count...so not many to give.


Also have some seeds from my 194.5 Watermelon - 255 Mitchell x open.

Dave, This is Shane out in gig harbor that grew your 1355 this year. I will try to get a bubble in the mail in the next few days. I would like to get a couple of the 1060 seeds and a couple more of the 1355 2009's if they are available. The 1355 will definitely get planted since it grew my 804 PB and the 1060 looks like a great cross i would like to try.

Hi Shane, just put in the bubble that you also wish some 1355 seeds...or any other seeds from my 09 season.

Dave in the above post did you mean that last one, your 881.5 had a very low seed count?

That is too bad if it did, she was a very nice orange.

Yup...after drying it is showing a lot of the seeds are empty inside...so not good...but that happens. I usually check with my fingers and am pretty good at finding empty ones..just because the seed looks good..has to be filled inside :-).
Good luck in 2011!! Just got 9 tons of compost to go with my cow manure!

I forgot to mention that Jim Courson's 1167 lber at Stillwater was even better shaped and colored and came from my 859 Bhaskaran 09 also...but he made the same cross as my 881.5 ...so hopefully better seed count for Jim.
I don't have a pix of Jim's but it was the best looking at Stillwater. IMHO.

I have very few 859 Bhaskaran 09 left..that was the 1689 Jutras(male) x 1385 Jutras(Female)...it is producing beautiful orange pumpkins as the Dad was. Jim Courson grew the biggest that I know and it was GREAT looking!!!
Not sure if Jim has a picture for the AGGC?
Anyways, if you are going to plant it...it is yours.

Don't worry...I have to fill out a form and and take it to the post office...I'm sending some to Germany also...if you want to send 3 stamps...that is great....I don't remember the cost to France.

Funny Side Note: My mailman is not happy...seems he had to come again to the door and drop off a box of seeds requests for the 3rd day. I'll try to get to all of them...I processed over 100 last year...just asking folks to be patient. Almost done with a 250 seed packet donation. :-)
