I'm pretty sure that I have one. i recall that I mangled one seedling last season but I'm pretty sure that I had at least one more seed. What caliber proven giant pumpkin seed would you be willing to trade for this seed?
$25.00 for a proven giant pumpkin seed would be an opening bid at auction, so I guess the question is, how serious are you guys about growing giant watermelons!

There is no doubt that they will sell but you don't have to plant a proven seed to grow a world record ;}

Keep in mind folks the GVGO does not hold an auction but opts to have a raffle and we are selling some seeds for a short time this year. This is how we help fund our club and this seed will easily fetch much higher than that at the auctions this winter. We have sold over 20 of them and have 8 left. I have bid and bought pumpkin seeds that don't germ as with any seed there is no guarantee.
The 239 Leonard was grown in an enclosure that was so hot it is well suited for the climate of people like those in Tennesse. It likes it hot!!!
For those of you that need watermelon seeds and don't want to pay for the 239 send me an email I'd be glad to send you some other watermelon seeds for free and I'll even pay for the postage.

I found a few and have traded for them. Thanks. I just like the 239 ..I had two going this year and they were easily the best plants in the patch. I will be sending out 239 Leonard Selfed seed for free. Just send me a bubble. Thanks, John
