The 1086 is all 895 hester and the 848 is 75% 895hester so those two are very related. Is there any particular line (genetically speaking) you want to incorporate in your mix with a selfed seed....?.....any particular traits?...

When I think of selfed squash that are long and low with shallow ribs the first ones that come to mind are the 262Toftness and the 428Wells squashes.....both are selfed 560Brooks98. The 560 was a selfed 1006Greer and was a pumpkin. No Lyons...totally unrelated....and the 428 was grown and produced a long/low fruit that was gren and mildly ribbed.(if I remember correctly)

Check the 770 McCallum 03, No 848, but a little 900.5 Lyons way back in it's genes. Also, the 859 Kurkowski 04 and subsequent 544.6 Sundstrom 2006. Cheers, Brent

I have a *516 that was a selfed 218Andrews. I grew that seed this year for a specific cross and it looked just like the *516. Go to my photo gallery (Cros) and see if its what you want. I have plenty of both the *516 and *528.
