Are there any restrictions on sending seed to England?
How about Germany?
We ought to keep track of this stuff with a FAQ.

in looking at Horizon Seeds Shipping instructions they only mention Italy and New Zealand as having restrictions :
[QUOTE] !!!!INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE!!!! We cannot ship live roots or plants outside the US. We do not ship tinctures (liquid herbal extracts) outside the US. We do not ship seeds to Italy or New Zealand. We can ship books to these countries, but not live botanical materials. (Folks from Italy or NZ, please don't e-mail us asking for an explanation. Here's the explanation. We've had myriads of wonderful, viable and potentially helpful seeds returned or confiscated and destroyed by Italian and NZ authorities and we don't want a repeat performance!) We DO ship seeds to every other country in the world. Australian customers are advised to check with AQIS before ordering disallowed species. We do not check with AQIS, and your seeds may be confiscated. We cannot accept responsibility for the actions of Australian AQIS. Yes, we definitely ship tinctures, seeds, roots and plants to Hawaii. So I think other places are fine !

Yes, we should send a seed delegate to Italy, to deliver seeds in person. I volunteer.

Yes, the best thing to do for to dend seeds in Italy is send the bubble to a friend (German, Austian,Belgium ecc..) and after the fiend (out there, if you know someone that can to do the favour) will resend the bubble to you! Sergio

The Netherlands has seed restrictions. Never write "seeds" on the bubble. If you put "cannabis" on it, it should be fine.
Actually that's not true. Seeds come through fine too...

I just sent seeds to Canada and had to fill out a customs form. Wasnt sure what to say it was, I knew not to say seeds, so I wrote 'buttons'. Have others had to fill out a customs form?

Don't confuse a customs form for a restriction, it isn't. I have received lots of seeds from the US and some have the customs stamp with "seeds" written on it, some don't and they all got through fine. Customs on both sides of the border can randomly search any parcel they want. It can cause delays but as long as it's legit, like seeds, it will go through without any problems. It's hit and miss up here. I have filled out a few customs forms when asked, actually it's just a small sticker with the addressee and item, usually I'm not asked.

Keep cool. Its a long time until the growing season starts. I sent the bubble out last week. I also sent you a mail, don't know if you got it. You will get the bubble for sure.
