Hi all,
Grown in a small patch without a lot of experience, and minimal care, but I think very good genetics for Orange.
170 Rudolph 2009 = 879 Zoellner x Self.
879 Zoellner 2008 = 1317 Rose x 1290 Piorier.
The 170 Turned out a very nice orange, decent shape, and I think its offspring will have a decent chance at Orange, and that is likely contains genes to get much bigger than what I grew, given it was a genetics patch at best by most grower standards.
look up meathead320 grower diary if you want to see pics of her, please do not get mixed up with the 1028 Giengner also in the pictures.
Just hoping someone out there who likes Orange and has a bigger garden would like to try and prove the 170 Rudolph.
Anyone can e-mail me at: mikemn230@yahoo.com if they want my addy to send the SASBE too.
I got a very decent seed count so I will put 4 seeds in any SASBE I get (doubt I will get so many I run out :p).

I saw the 170 at the weighoff in Delano, and can attest to the nice color and shape of the pumpkin.

I have a good feeling that she should throw orange, and able to get much bigger with better care/larger patch that the first 10 people who e-mail me with an adress will just get some seeds sent to them, with not even a SASBE.
I just want the seed to get tried, so first 10 who e-mail me with an adress to send seeds to get 4 of them, and I cover the cost of the stamp. Merry Christmas! :D
Grandparents of the 170 are:
The 1317 = 1370 Rose x 998 Pukos, and the 1290 Poirier = 772 Poirier x 500 Northrup.
So we got 3 well known producers of Orange, with a 998 Pukos in there, and, from a pumpkin that was selfed, I would think should be predictable orange for those orange lovers out there.
Even if you don't think it has size, it may be a good Orange injector to cross into another line that is a little pale.
