Puny stump on this thing. This squash plant is weird. It has small diameter vines like a cucumber plant. Unfortunately It's in a spot that's very dry and I haven't been able to get a lot of water to it because it's on the high side of the patch and the drip tape is sending all the water down hill. Grrrr. I will figure it out.... In the meantime, I am just bracing myself to fight this upcomiing heat wave that could be record breaking......At least thats what I have heard. I am glad I live out in the country and not the city!
