Want mega dandelions? I took soil samples from the rootzone of the mega dandelions. This is a re- creation of my soil test results for that area. (The soil report didn't include graphics so I did my best to create these graphics using the numbers I was given.) I filled in the numbers from the test.

It's not good soil. Its unclear which nutrients promote the megas and/or unclear which deficiency promotes the megas. Comparing this test to last years test of the dirt that grew my best tomato megas I can say they have in common:

-Low boron
-Low/borderline low nitrogen
-Low/ borderline low sulfer
-Low chloride

There are no other commonalities between the two tests. That I can discern.

Not very helpful in figuring out the nutritional issue leading to fasciation/ fused mega blooms. Maybe I'm looking right at it but not seeing it.
