									...And 24" is the amount of rain we've gotten in the past month or so.  Exciting forcast (sarcasm) typical for this time of year.
    But, to me as a garden nerd it is exciting.  Because earlier this year I decided I want to let the soil be uncovered this fall/winter to leach out some excess nitrate/ chloride.  This effort is off to a great start.  
  Considering new ideas for next year...  
  Meanwhile, has anyone looked into maltose???  Some growers have used spent grains from distilling...  Not sure if anyone is still doing this.  
  The cover crop of oats is solid green.  No pic right now, maybe later!  Things looking so good right now!!!
