With Hope being so wide (about 7 feet) and long (almost 6 feet) I am concerned about the geometry of lifting her to put her on what my friend, Jim Ford, is joking about and calling "the world record pumpkin pallet." The feet of my tripod will need to be set extra wide, which makes the tripod legs lower above the pumpkin. To be safe I made extensions for the tripod legs. They should be good. Unfortunately Hope isn't going to make it to the 500 OTT that I was hoping for. I guess they all slow down near the end. But she is still crazy big. And most likely will be considerably heavy. Just 17 days until she gets loaded up for Hard Rock!
