I have been spot spraying leaves which have some powdery white mildew with copper fungicide. It has been working great! But today while I was wading through my 2301 Pugh plant I came across aphids!!! I removed pretty much any leaf I could find with any signs of aphids from this plant which has a 1450 pound 70 day old fruit growing on it. I took off probably 40 leaves & disposed of them. Tonight I sprayed with a cocktail of imidicloprid, talstar, & some fungicide. As much as I hated finding these aphids, I am thankful that they weren't on my "good" plants. Ahhh, if it isn't one thing, it is another! At least an army of mice isn't eating my big pumpkins. I hope that isn't what happens next!
