This the start of the patch for the 3rd 2144 Barron. The whole patch will be covered with a single piece of poly to act as a semi greenhose with open sides. It's amazing how much heat is generated by just having a cover over the patch. It also prevents a heavy rainfall from imacting the plant/friut . The treated fence posts have been installed and the tops will be connected with ropes to support the poly. I will post progress pictures as I proceed. I used this method to grow a 1632 lb pumpkin a few years back.
