Fortunately, the kids helped and we finished before a severe thunderstorm hit, with lots of hail and a tornado to the north of us. No major damage here, but the tulips took a beating from the hail. If this was later in the summer, it would have ended the season. I'm working on a set up for better storm protection this year.
