I plugged the split with some caulk to keep air out and hopefully delay any decomposition. I am hoping to keep it growing until the weighoff on the 21st and get it to 1000 pounds. Need to average about 4 pounds per day. It's mother went a little light compared to estimate though so I am battling that as well.
