Please people practice safe pollination. I was mistakenly under the impression last year that I had nothing that would cross pollinate with my field pumpkins. A few open pollinated while I was on vacation last year and the seed from this one was my largest to scale. I wanted to plant more of my own seed this year, and well you see the results. I would guess summer squash field pumpkin cross. Once the rain stops, I will be pulling two plants to make room for those on the two sides of it.
