Ok so this diary is Jumbled up and late but that's kinda how it's going this season ...
wasn't gonna grow this year and then on may 18th I was approached to grow field pumpkins for a fall festival ... no field prepped and no seeds ordered I said yes ... (fool)
So we planted seed June 9 and off we went .....of coarse I ordered giant pumpkin seeds too !!knowing I'd be late I didn't get a chance to pollinate till august 8th ... so I'm not going to break any records this year ... my record is 636 lbs holds big island record and unofficial I had 1000lber but couldn't get it to a contest for uncontrollable circumstances... but I did get a heaviest pumpkin overall award as the judges heRd about the pumpkin and went to visit it upon seeing it was enough .. lol any way not gonna beat my self this year but still trying to have fun with it ...
