Got the Jutras pumpkin unscathed and intact back from London. Safely stored away in our new barn for a week or so before the pumpkin display goes out in the garden. Big weigh off on Saturday here in the UK, looks set to be a good day.
Looking forward to meeting all the other growers who turn up and hopefully see some records get broken. The Meier which I'm taking tapes at 1334lb this evening. 13% heavy would get it to 1500, a big ask but I'll be delighted if it comes in on its estimated weight.
