Been drying out the patch, and automated irrigation isn't back on or consistent yet which is a bind. Still yet to go back and cover unrooted vine roots for both plants, but progress made (time is v. short!). Berard generally needs encouraging top roots - bottom form without an issue...but Ansems has limited rooting top and bottom - vines in places unattached. Eek. Assuming it's all related to watering issues - nutrient lock up and too soggy in places.
