I received 5 Cucurbita Maxima seeds from a 400 pound squash, grown in Ecuador and Peru. These are the original wild species of our AG's that were probably also grown by William Warnock in 1900. I'm going to try and cross it with an 1870 (2009x2009). Apparently these South American cucurbita maxima fruit are super dense with no hollow core (or seed cavity). Old meets New. I'm trying to produce a super heavy Pumpkin, by reintroducing these genetics.
