Here is 1 sprouted. If I manage to grow full size potatoes from them, I have to make sure they are not poisonous and without a lab, that is done by a taste test. Preferably baked or roasted with nothing added. Will do next Spring for a reason.
"Health Canada has established a health-based maximum level of 20 mg total glycoalkaloids per 100 g (fresh weight) of potato tuber. This maximum level is applicable to all potatoes that are commercially sold in Canada." By the way it takes a lot to do any harm , so taste and if it is bitter, spit it out.

Peach reaper. Now I know that this will not excite the AG growers near as much as getting sudden onset diarrhea (sod) while stuck in a traffic jam with no toilet handy on your way to a weighoff

L- R . Genghis Khan, Dragons Breath, Carolina Reaper. These 3 peppers are quite capable of giving you a geography lesson. Eat one of these and the next day you will learn that the Ring of Fire is not in the Pacific Ocean nor is it a mineral area in Ontario

top row L - R honeysuckle gold (yellow flesh. aka the diabetic potato), purple majesty purple flesh, terra rosa (red flesh). bottom L - R adirondack blue(blue flesh), german butterball (white flesh). All the potatoes are tasty but the white are the least tasty. Not bad as there are a lot of bland white flesh (round white for 1)potatoes out there. Color depends on growing temperature plus how you cook them. Even mashed they are still colourful Have other varieties such as the ama rosa fingerling. . I found the german butterball likes to produce. Gotta have fun with your food!
