6/23/18 - they look good so far. Mowed winter rye today for possibly last time. No pollinations yet but should by July 1st. Actually more females showing than males. I Reduced the fertilizers this year since my soil test came back with NPK pegged.
Foreground - left 463 House, right 811 Schweigert

One of my strongest plants of the 64 I put in is the “mystery plant” because I forgot to write down what it was. In October when I pull it hopefully there is a wooden stake with the info.

Photo taken today, 7/20/18 of plants on my best land which receive full sunlight.. Obviously there is no yellow showing since most of the pollinations have aborted due to many days in 90s. About 1/3 of these plants have no female flowers

The plot gets the most shade and is doing the best. Some of my early pollinations were successful and have grown well. All seeds are from pumpkins that weighed less than 1000 pounds here but should be lookers.

Solved the problem of the “mystery plant”. It was grown from a seed of my 801.5 from last year. There is another identical to this and a slightly smaller one on plant.

I am an orange lover that grew over 60 plants this year. Nothing real big since I leave 2 or 3 pumpkins per plant but acceptable and easier to move.
I am sure the growers that sent me their seeds want to know the results - here are a few with the seed listed.
