Probably a little late to get in on the winter contest, but I'm going to try. This is my first attempt at germinating a tomato, and Jay's seeds were 5/5. I did not compact the soil enough, and all but 1 had "helmet head" as Dan puts it. Needless to say, I killed a couple trying to fix them. I'm already learning, which was the goal anyway.
